What would you do if Kratom was banned today?
How would you feel if you woke up tomorrow morning and realized our government had dropped the hammer on the Kratom community leaving us with nothing?
No more Kratom deals.
That’s a scary feeling isn’t it?
In this article, I want to talk about the power of your decision. Whether you know it or not, the decision you make today affects people around you. In your daily life, in your work situation…every decision you make today has some sort of butterfly effect which will ripple throughout the sands of time.
Knowing this, you can understand the ripple affect is constantly moving and shaking your future. The decisions you made last year have molded your situations today.
Let’s talk about one powerful decision you can make today which will have both a positive and negative affect on the Kratom community tomorrow.
The Decision To Make A Difference
First, I want to make sure you understand this article is in no way meant to hurt your feelings. This is just an honest perspective of what I’m seeing in the community and I don’t want to “call anyone out”, just make you aware.
One of the most powerful ways you can help save Kratom today is through the use of video.
Did you know video is the most consumed form of content online?
According to a HubSpot survey, the majority of the people who go online today will prefer to watch a video than read an article.
Maybe I should’ve done a video about this instead of an article…hmmm.
As you already know Kratom powder is coming under fire once again and it’s up to YOU to make a decision today that you’re going to help save it.
Right now, our government is giving us a free shot to do that.
They have created a website called The Crisis Next Door which allows people who use Kratom to share their testimony.
The Decision To Do
Henry Ford said, Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.
One of the top reasons Kratom users aren’t taking advantage of our government website to share their story is because they are too nervous to step in front of the camera.
As you can see from the screen capture here, I have some less than great moments while on video. I can understand being nervous and scared when it comes to stepping in to record.
If this is you, I want to give you some tips I use for Wade’s Wednesday video’s – because I’m a naturally quiet person and hate being in front of the camera.
- Avoid a script – this doesn’t mean you SHOULDN’T write anything down though. Have a couple of points on paper so you can stay on track with your message. As you record you can glance at your notes.
- Thank God for the Editor – Our Vlog Page may look like it’s pulled together great on the outside, but believe me, there’s a ton of edits to make it look that way. Always remember, since you are not doing a LIVE video, you have the option to go back and edit out the bad parts. People make mistakes, so go ahead and make them and just pull them out later.
- Do A Test Run – take a couple of try’s to get it right. Practice makes perfect.
- Be Conversational – Look directly at the camera eye and talk to it like you would your best friend. You’re not a television anchor and you don’t have to act like one. Be you and talk like you normally talk.
Change The Ripple
The power of your decision to make time to complete this action today could affect the ripple down the road for Kratom. Who knows? It could be your testimony that touches someone’s life on the other end of the government chain.
I realize you might be nervous.
I understand you might not know what to say.
However, this is where your preparation beforehand comes in handy.
There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for anyone to be left out of this process. If you enjoy Kratom, you should be involved actively in completing this action this week.
If you don’t make your decision today, our government could make their decision tomorrow. If that happened, I guarantee most people would regret not making the decision to do it.
