Like any concerned Kratom consumer, you are constantly looking for up-to-date information, and new objectives to complete during this threat to Kratom. One of the things we have been seeing lately, something which keeps coming back like a bad hair day, is SITSA.
There’s power in the people and just like 2016, many of the concerned Kratom community members made their voices heard and we stopped SITSA in its tracks as of 10:30 pm Sept 25th, 2018.
It’s important to continue the education and keep our voices heard because when we pull together, we can make a change.
Important Facts In The Kratom Threat
Remember a while back when the FDA created an announcement explaining that Kratom was the cause of death for at least 44 individuals? Later, Scott Gottlieb revised that number to 64 when Rolling Stone magazine interviewed him on these statements.
Why not make it an even hundred?
Clearly, and you and I already know this, the FDA is missing some very important information during this entire fight, and their practices are mind-boggling.
Okay, let’s back up a bit…
Do you remember the article I wrote where the NIDA published their own article about uncontaminated Kratom?
If you don’t recall, you should read it because it contains some pretty crazy information from the NIDA. They stated “uncontaminated Kratom cannot cause death”. If you don’t believe me, I snagged a screenshot of the statement they made in their article.
A few days later, we find out the FDA has “encouraged” the NIDA to take this statement down.
That seemed to be bad news for us. If the FDA was trying to hide important factual evidence about Kratom from the rest of the world, how will we be able to convince people pure Kratom is a safe alternative?
Currently, the NIDA has released another statement saying there is at least one deadly case reported by the FDA that is “being investigated as possible use of pure kratom.”
At least, now, the number has went from (44? 64?) to one.
But you and I both know if these scientists and doctors would complete a purity test on this Kratom they would find out it has been contaminated just like the others.
Here’s the NACU share of this statement:
One of the things the AKA is trying to do, is to get every vendor t to follow the recommended standards for their Kratom powder. The Kratom ban is something that we are going to continue to fight against until we have vendors who agree to lab test their products and present the best possible powder to their customers.
How We Should Continue…
SITSA was being driven by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte who wanted this forced back into H.R.6.
We the people of Kratom, in order to form a more perfect community, establish purity of powder, and create acts of responsibility by vendors across the country, hereby do ordain and follow the rules and procedures of the Kratom Constitution.
We fought. We made our voices heard and created change.
Just as our forefathers fought against oppression in the Revolutionary War, they bucked the normalcy of “big government” and did what they thought was right.
You already know that pure Kratom cannot harm anyone. This is why we must fight. Here is the complete call to action, please follow this and do it as quickly, and as many times as you can.
In short, we must revel in this small victory and continue to remember that we can make a difference together.
It’s important to stay consistent in calling your House and Senate representatives about Kratom, stay updated with Scott Gottlieb and what the FDA is doing over on Twitter or their website. I feel like a tiny crack of hope was revealed in the video below when Mr. Gottlieb mentioned they needed more evidence on Kratom. That’s a perfect start and hopefully this will continue to go forward for us.
There are so many people out there who have never even heard of the power of Kratom. If this threat on Kratom moves forward, they never will hear about this miracle plant…and it could happen if you don’t take a stand for what’s right. I believe if you and I band together and agree that we are going to make a difference with our representatives in Washington and in our local community, we can educate people who need to hear the truth regarding Kratom.
