Job Summary
The Account Executive is a strategic sales professional that searches for new business, aggressively works to convert prospective leads into active, revenue-generating accounts and deepens key customer relationships in support of company sales and margin objectives. This position is responsible for developing a book of business and representing Kats Botanicals to Retail clients and prospective Wholesale partners alike. We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, high performing Account Executive responsible for pursuing business opportunities that align with our strategic initiatives in a rapidly growing industry.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Sales Director to achieve mutually set goals and objectives
- Build and maintain strong retailer and wholesaler relationships
- Manage entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure utilizing proven sales
techniques - Maximize networking skills to generate new sales opportunities and convert them
into long term partnerships - Drive established sales goals and objectives utilizing team resources to increase
market share - Stay current on company product offerings, technical knowledge, and industry
trends - Become proficient in CRM software and leverage the features available to
maximize sales productivity - Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of sales goals and
objectives - Prepare presentations, proposals, and quotes as requested
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your Region to understand their
needs - Respond to issues and concerns in a positive, appropriate and efficient manner
with the goal of building customer satisfaction and retention - Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and competitive information
- Participate in marketing events such as trade shows and customer events
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service
role - Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Professional demeanor, comfortable presenting to and interacting directly with

Education and Experience
- BS in business administration preferred
- Kratom or CBD sales experience preferred
