Job Overview
Works in a specialized botanical production facility, managing raw materials through finished goods while maintaining stringent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process raw kratom through precision sifting, blending, and packaging operations
- Operate and run production equipment including industrial blenders and automated packaging machinery
- Perform routine production maintenance and equipment calibration
- Follow GMP protocols and standard operating procedures
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintain clean work areas according to FDA sanitation requirements
- Document production activities and complete batch records
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and mechanical issues
- Support inventory management by tracking materials usage
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years machine operation and troubleshooting experience required
- Packaging experience strongly preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Attention to detail and quality consciousness
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear PPE
- Reliability and punctuality
Work Environment
Climate-controlled production floor with exposure to fine powder materials. Requires comprehensive PPE usage including N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and hairnets.
